Ellinger Town Basketball is our In-Town Rec program for grades 1-4 named after our founder George Ellinger.  This program in grades 1-3 is tailored for boys or girls of all skill & experience levels.  In grades 1 & 2 we introduce basic rules, terminology and start developing basketball skills and fundamentals.  Our goal is for kids to have fun while learning some basic concepts, but also to prepare players for our more competitive travel program that begins in 3rd grade. The In-Town option is also available for players in grade 4 who don't want the same level of commitment as the Travel program.

The Ellinger program typically runs on Saturdays in the school gyms from December to early March.

Once times and locations are determined for the current year the information is updated from the preliminary schedule and given to the coaches.  We will also send emails to those signed up with further instructions.

We recommend each child bring a water bottle, age appropriate basketball, and a great attitude!  In addition, players should be dressed in athletic shorts, the provided reversible pinnie, and sneakers.

The 2024-2025 fee for Ellinger hoops is $175.  All new players get a reversible blue & white pinnie and we’ll have a few extras for those that grow out of last year's pinnie. We are working on an idea to take back gently used pinnies in good condition. For families with multiple players we offer a combined Ellinger and travel family fee cap of $850.
